Well, thanks to the wonderful ATA service, I am, for the second year in a row, stuck on the continent for several hours in an airport. We’ll see if they’re any better this time (while it would be hard to be worse, I’m not exactly confident they’ll be better).

If I’m not too irritated, I’ll work on getting out the latest A2Unplugged, but show notes are probably not going to happen until I’m at home.

Day two of KansasFest 2007 included an iPhone demonstration, a session on getting started with ORCA, an update on the Marinetti Open Source Project, and a live recording of A2Unplugged with guest hosts Carrington Vanston of 1MHz! and Andy Molloy of Juiced.GS joining Ryan Suenaga live in front of the KansasFest Assembled.

KansasFest 2007 started off with meals (including the annual KFest Kookout, with the work mostly being done by King of the Kooks Kirk Mitchell), included a brilliant keynote address by Dave Szetela, formerly of Nibble Magazine and Apple Computer, Inc., a session on soldering by Ed Eastman, pizza from Syndicomm and the Sheppys, and lots of visiting, running around, laughing, and staying up late.

Tomorrow, A2Unplugged (or A2Unpugged, depending on your typing), will have a live podcast from KansasFest 2007.

As I write this, KansasFest 2007 is in full swing! I just met up a few minutes ago with fellow Apple II podcaster Carrington Vanston of 1MHz! for the first time. Currently I am in the van of my longtime roommate Kirk Mitchell of Moscow, Kansas, headed off to Radio Shack to buy some equipment for tomorrow’s live recording of A2UnpluggedA2Unpugged(?!?!).
